Hello everyone and welcome to a new year, and with the spring equinox a new start for many. This Friday, inspired by the Swimming a Long Way Together project I will be taking part in Swim 22, a sponsored swim to raise money for Diabetes UK. I'm hoping to swim 11 miles in 12 weeks which might sound easy but taking into account my lack of fitness and fitting this around work and childcare (the school holidays start in a week!) I think it is going to be quite a challenge. You can follow my progress here:

I will also be finally finishing off the recorded version of Carnival of the Seas, which will be available on CD with a special glow in the dark sleeve as soon as is humanely possible, waiting on a delivery of magic paint before I can start producing those but I'm sure it will be worth it. For every sale of that release I will also donate a cut to Diabetes UK.

In other charity news I have a track on this new compilation What Colour is Sound? 7, many thanks to Michael Plater for including me in that. My contribution is the exclusive 'Go to the Ant' which is about the feeling I get on January 1st each year, wanting to hit the ground running. So far I've been doing exactly that so rest assured there is plenty of music coming this year.
