Sarah and I made the seemingly simple journey to Chelmsford last night to play a session for the wonderful Paul Dupree, but somehow the on-brand chaos followed us there and it all got a bit frantic and muddled as per. We had a lot of fun and felt so welcome, but poor Paul! It was probably more like an immersive experience in a fever dream for him. Anyway you can hear the results at this link, we played versions of Fox (where I played knee tabla), Summer Tonight (where I sang into the wrong mic) and Nessie (which actually went broadly as planned). And then I knocked over a mic stand and took the entire station off air. Mic drop. Sarah might have also mentioned she was gay about 50 times. One for the ages.
